The key changes are:

• Brilliant Points (both Status Points and Award Points) will no longer be earned from 12 January 2027. 

• Existing Award Points may continue to be redeemed until 11 January 2028.

• Revised tier qualification will be based on annual qualifying spend under the updated programme. 

• Revised member benefits will be introduced from 12 January 2027, including member rate discounts, dining discounts and room upgrade vouchers. 

Brilliant by Langham is evolving and updating its loyalty programme structure. From 12 January 2027, the updated programme will focus on tier-based benefits, member savings and privileges, while maintaining a transition period for the redemption of existing Award Points. 

Brilliant Points may be earned on eligible transactions completed on or before 11 January 2027. Brilliant Points will not be earned on transactions completed on or after 12 January 2027.

From 12 January 2027, you may continue to redeem existing Award Points until 11 January 2028, subject to the applicable redemption terms and conditions.

We are providing advance notice of these changes to allow you to review your Award Point balance, plan future redemptions and familiarise yourself with the programme changes that will take effect from 12 January 2027.

You may continue to earn Brilliant Points on eligible stays, dining transactions and other qualifying transactions completed on or before 11 January 2027, in accordance with the current programme rules.

Bonus points will be awarded on eligible transactions completed on or before 11 January 2027, in accordance with the applicable promotion terms and conditions.

To recognise your loyalty, membership tiers will transition as follows based on the membership tier you hold on 11 January 2027:

• Sapphire maps to Ruby

You will receive a new 12-month membership cycle commencing on 12 January 2027.

Future tier qualification and tier retention will be based on Qualifying Spend in accordance with the updated Brilliant by Langham Programme Terms and Conditions effective from 12 January 2027.

No. You will either retain your current tier or be upgraded under the transition arrangements described above.

Your membership tier as of 11 January 2027 will determine your membership tier under the updated programme from 12 January 2027.

Any membership tier upgrade achieved under the current programme on or before 11 January 2027 will be recognised when determining your membership tier under the updated programme.

You will be informed of your membership tier under the updated programme in early January 2027. 

From 12 January 2027, your membership tier will be determined based on Qualifying Spend achieved during each tier period.

The Qualifying Spend requirements are:

You will progress through the tiers sequentially. When the qualifying-spend requirement for the next membership tier is achieved during a tier period, you will be upgraded to that tier. Upon upgrade, a new 12-month tier period will begin.

At the end of each tier period, if you meet the applicable Qualifying Spend requirement for your current tier, you will retain that tier for the next 12-month period.

Qualifying Spend, tier qualification and benefit eligibility are subject to the updated Brilliant by Langham Programme Terms and Conditions effective from 12 January 2027.

No. The one-tier upgrade is a one-time transition arrangement effective from 12 January 2027. Future tier qualification and tier retention will continue to be determined in accordance with the qualifying-spend requirements and the updated Programme Terms and Conditions.

Any valid vouchers currently available in your wallet, including room upgrade vouchers and vouchers redeemed through the Redemption Catalogue, will remain subject to their existing terms and conditions, including their validity periods and usage requirements.

Yes. Brilliant by Langham will continue from 12 January 2027 with an updated programme based on annual qualifying spend and revised tier benefits. 

Details of the updated membership benefits are available on the updated programme information page. Additional information and the applicable Programme Terms and Conditions will be communicated separately. 

The updated membership benefits will take effect from 12 January 2027 and are subject to the applicable Brilliant by Langham Programme Terms and Conditions effective from that date.

No. You do not need to take any action as part of this transition. Your Brilliant by Langham membership will continue, and the updated programme and revised member benefits will apply automatically from 12 January 2027.

From 12 January 2027, Brilliant by Langham will introduce an updated programme structure based on annual qualifying spend and tier-based membership benefits. Existing Award Points may continue to be redeemed until 11 January 2028, subject to the applicable Programme Terms and Conditions.

The updated Brilliant by Langham Programme Terms and Conditions will be available from 12 January 2027 through the Brilliant by Langham website and other relevant communication channels.

Membership benefits are subject to the applicable Programme Terms and Conditions, including eligibility requirements and availability. Certain benefits may not be available for all stays, rates, booking channels, hotels or membership tiers.
